Long approval time for waste facility

skimmer Building new waste facilities is currently very popular. Many small service companies are starting up a waste facility to dispose of oil field wastes for nearby operators.

One operator applied for a waste facility amendment. He's now been waiting for over a year for approval. Would you like to know what's holding it up? You can get it within moments by clicking on the "Get this application now" link below.

Industry is seeking many new waste facility approvals. In fact, every month, there are 10-20 new applications submitted to the AER.

But in August a whopping 40% of applications were refused by the AER. You can't find approval statistics anywhere else except in AppIntel.

Check out all the new waste facility applications. Get them within minutes from AppIntel.

Three reasons for refusing

Applications are refused or closed for three reasons: technical, technicality, and stake holder concerns.

Technical: The regulator doesn't agree with your plan on a fundamental basis. "Sorry, we won't let you store oilfield waste in a bog."

Technicality: You filled the forms wrong. "Sorry, you didn't include the correct UWI in your application."

Stake holder: You have intractable disagreements with legitimate stake holders. "Sorry, the farmer next to your facility objects to having your lights shine all night."

Read closed applications

To prevent your application from being refused by the regulator, it's best to read other's closed applications. You can find out what the regulator didn't like and make sure you stay away from those traps.

Before filing an application, we always read the applications of others -- especially closed applications or ones that take a long time for approval.

Make sure your application is approved by investigating others' closed applications.

Watch others' waste facility applications

Wouldn't it be great if, as soon as it was submitted, you received an alert of your competitor's application? You could use this to keep up to date with your competition. Now you can order just alerts from AppIntel.

Are you interested in getting area alerts on waste facility applications? There are 3-5 of those submitted every week. How many are you seeing?

AppIntel is cheaper than having your tech search for applications through the AER's IAR

I have another client who decided to have his tech search and collect his competitor's applications. Since that didn't take very much of her day, he started giving her other work. Soon he found that the application intelligence had taken lowest priority and hadn't been done for months.

And you can probably have five AppIntel subscriptions for the same price as a dedicated tech.

AppIntel doesn't stop searching to take sick days and vacation days. AppIntel doesn't forget to search for a day or a week. Appintel works weekends.

And how much will that cost you in lost opportunity if you miss an important competitor's application that shows how to take out of province oilfield waste?

If AppIntel is cheaper than a tech, it's much cheaper than a business owner doing it himself.

Want to try it out? Now you can order just a few alerts. Cheap and cheery.
